By providing a newsletter for your opt-in list subscribers you receive benefits like driving traffic to your site and boosting your sales and profits.

This method of marketing doesn’t put a huge dent in your marketing budget and doesn’t require a lot of man-hours to do it.

By using this method of communication, you can inform the public about your company – your products and your services. It becomes very easy to keep them up-to-date about what’s going-on with your company as well as different promotions and offerings.
Your letter just keeps reminding subscribers that you’re still here and ready to offer them good deals and services.

This method of marketing also gives you the opportunity to impress your subscribers.
In it you can showcase your expertise and knowledge about the topic at hand and the many benefits you can offer them.

When you impress people with your knowledge and straightforward talk, they look upon you as an expert in your market.

As a result they become potential customers and may also recommend you to their friends, colleagues and family.

All of them could very well be customers in the future.

If you don’t have a newsletter or publish one for your site, then you may have to consider doing some research and become well informed on how to publish one.

# 1. Make sure the content of your newsletter

is closely associated with your business or the theme of your site. Don’t stray from what your subscribers regard as your field of expertise.
You’ve started your site with a certain theme and that is what you should be talking about and showing your knowledge on. If for example, you have a site that sells auto car parts - your newsletter must contain articles or content like photos that pertain to cars, auto parts, etc.
You might include content about your company and your staff at differing times.
Remember that your visitors are there because they have an interest in what your site is offering and they sign up on your opt-in list for more information, then they want to be updated for that certain theme or subject.

Be sure that when you publish your editorials you’re providing for the needs of the subscriber as well as their interests.

# 2. Make sure you have well written,

information riddled and content rich articles. Your articles are the body of your newsletter and they should be able to excite your readers as well as provide information.
Articles have to be well written and checked for errors such as spelling and grammatical errors for it to look professional and believable. Your client’s trust for you and your information are at stake here.

# 3. Be sure to provide true facts and figures

so that your reputation as an expert and your knowledge in your field is not questioned.
If you lose the trust of your subscribers they may just be persuaded to unsubscribe to your newsletter.
If this happens, you’re going to lose many potential sales as a result.

# 4. Provide fresh and new articles

that can give new and thought provoking information to your subscribers. If you publish stale and old news as your information, there’s a good chance that your subscribers already have read and know about it.
They’ll lose interest and won’t even get to read what is most important, your ads. They may not open or read any of your succeeding newsletters because you have disappointed them.
By losing the intent of your newsletter, you’ve lost your focus to get them to visit your site and make a purchase.

# 5. Never use copyrighted materials

such as photos and articles.
This is outright plagiarism and can get you into a lot of trouble.
You could lose your business and get sued over copyright infringement. If you don’t have the time to write your own articles, there are lots of many willing and able professional article writers that will do it for you for a reasonable fee. Your investment in writing and publishing articles will prove well worth it when you see your list build up and your traffic increasing.
