Are you creative ? Writing an article doesn’t mean just putting down any old thoughts and then typing them. You have to capture the interest of your readers so they want to keep on reading. To do this you have to be creative and get the attention of the reader - have a firm grasp of their interest - pique their curiosity.
This is the first 3 steps of the AIDA formula which is:
The last "A" we'll talk about in another article.
Writing does take a large dose of creativity.
Creativity is natural to some people, to others, not so much. Some of you will just get what is called “writers block” and it can literally drive you crazy. Some writers have “torn their hair out” when they get writers block and just can’t seem to get their creative juices flowing. You must have your words create images in the readers mind, and that is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similies and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph into a whole article, develops the essence of the article. So what can you do you when nothing comes to mind? There is no easy way to get the perfect ideas but there are easy ways to get your creative juices flowing. No one can guarantee you the perfect mindset but there are methods that may aid you in achieving the desired state of mind.
Here are five easy ways for that.1) Keep a diary or a journal with you always.Ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar in finding great ideas. Write all of them into a journal and keep it with you for future reference. You might also write down anything that you have read or heard, someone else’s ideas could be used to develop your own ideas and this is not stealing. Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s the development of the idea that makes it unique. 2) Relax and take time to sort things out.A jumbled mind can't create any space for new ideas. You need a clear mind if you want to be creative. Get rid of anything that can be a hindrance to your creativity. If you're being bothered by something, your mind won't stay focused. Relax and let your mind wander to past experiences and interactions with others. Your experiences shape your mindset and your opinions which will probably be reflected in your writing. Discover yourself. Figure out what triggers your emotions. What inspires you and what turns you off. Use these emotions to express yourself and your ideas. 3) Create a work spot
